Job Overview:
A respected family law practice based in Dallas, TX, is actively seeking an early-career attorney with a strong interest in family law litigation. The role is remote with occasional in-person requirements and is designed to support professional growth in courtroom advocacy, case management, and family law proceedings.

Duties:

• Represent clients in legal matters related to divorce, custody, support, and other family law issues

• Prepare and draft legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and settlement agreements

• Conduct depositions and appear at hearings, mediations, and other court proceedings

• Guide clients with empathy, professionalism, and clarity

• Maintain organized and timely case progress across multiple client matters

• Collaborate closely with colleagues in a team-focused legal environment

Requirements:

• 0 to 3 years of experience in family law preferred; open to attorneys with general litigation backgrounds seeking to transition into this field

• Licensed to practice law and in good standing with the Texas State Bar

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to manage deadlines, priorities, and case strategies independently

• Strong sense of professionalism and client service orientation

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license with the State Bar of Texas

Skills:

• Strong legal writing and courtroom presentation skills

• Detail-oriented with sound judgment and strategic thinking

• Adaptability to evolving legal issues and client needs

• Comfort with legal technology and case management tools

Job Location:

• Dallas, TX (Remote with local court attendance and occasional in-office presence)
