A law firm seeks a mid-level Antitrust and Competition Associate to join its Washington, DC office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transactional antitrust matters and a commitment to excellence in legal practice.

Duties

• Conduct HSR filings and provide deal counseling.
• Engage in merger investigations before the FTC, DOJ, and other agencies.
• Participate in antitrust investigations and complex federal litigations.
• Provide client counseling on antitrust matters.

Requirements

• Three to six years of transactional antitrust experience.
• Experience in technology, pharmaceuticals, health care, or retail is a plus.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Licensed or eligible to become licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
