Duties

• Manage all aspects of medical malpractice litigation, including case assessment, discovery, and trial preparation.
• Draft court pleadings, motions, and responses to discovery requests.
• Collaborate with medical experts to develop case strategies.
• Research and draft legal memoranda and briefs.
• Participate in pretrial and trial hearings, preparing attorneys and clients.
• Assist in the preparation of appeal briefs and oral arguments.

Requirements

• 3 or more years of litigation experience required; medical malpractice experience preferred.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with professionalism and client focus.

Education

• Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA-accredited law school with an outstanding academic record.

Certifications

• Admission to the Virginia Bar and in good standing.

Skills
