Duties:

• Conduct thorough legal analysis and manage litigation files

• Draft persuasive briefs, legal memoranda, pleadings, and appellate filings

• Handle discovery, including drafting and responding to requests

• Represent clients in court proceedings, arbitrations, and depositions

• Collaborate with expert witnesses and coordinate trial preparation

• Maintain an annual billable target of 1,950 hours

• Occasional travel may be necessary

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience handling general liability cases

• Active license to practice law in Connecticut (CT); additional State Bars are a plus

• Demonstrated ability to handle caseloads independently

• Strong communication and advocacy skills

• Reliable responsiveness to clients and team communication

• Solid organizational skills and a proactive mindset

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the Connecticut State Bar

• Admission to other jurisdictions is beneficial, though not mandatory
