Job Overview

A law firm seeks a talented associate with 2-5 years of civil litigation experience to join their Professional and General Liability team in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will have superior academic credentials and excellent research and writing skills. Experience in legal malpractice defense, A&E defense, and/or accounting malpractice defense is advantageous. Admission to the Rhode Island bar is a plus.

Duties

• Represent professionals and related businesses in state and federal courts.
• Engage in disciplinary board and arbitration tribunal proceedings.
• Conduct thorough legal research and draft legal documents.
• Collaborate effectively within a team setting.
• Work independently while maintaining supervision.

Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
• Active bar admission with the ability to obtain MA admission quickly.
• 2-5 years of civil litigation experience.
• Strong writing and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail.
