Bankruptcy and Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney

Profile

A law firm in Wilmington is seeking a Bankruptcy and Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney to join its team. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in handling bankruptcy litigation, commercial litigation (including mortgage foreclosure litigation), and other creditors' rights matters. Strong academic background, excellent writing skills, and admission to practice in Delaware are required.

Duties:

• Manage bankruptcy litigation cases representing creditors and debtors in court proceedings.
• Handle commercial litigation matters, including mortgage foreclosure litigation and creditors' rights issues.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other court documents.
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediation sessions, and settlement negotiations.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to develop case strategies and achieve favorable outcomes.
• Prepare and review legal documents, contracts, and agreements related to bankruptcy and commercial litigation matters.
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates on case developments and advising on legal strategies.
• Stay updated on developments in bankruptcy and commercial litigation laws and regulations.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience in bankruptcy and commercial litigation.
• Admission to practice law in Delaware.
• Strong academic background.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
