A law firm seeks a Family Lawyer in Fremont, CA, to passionately represent clients during challenging times. The ideal candidate will have experience in family law, including prenuptial agreements, divorces, alimony, child support, child custody, and real estate matters.

Duties

• Organize and maintain client files to ensure they are current.
• Advocate for clients by understanding their needs and forming strategic plans.
• Manage the division of marital assets, including real estate, during divorce proceedings.
• Represent clients effectively at court hearings as needed.
• Draft pleadings, motions, contracts, marital settlement agreements, judgments, and orders.

Requirements

• 4-year degree with a legal background and J.D. degree required.
• Licensed to practice in the State of CA.
• 5-10 years of experience in family law within a law firm.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, especially in stressful situations.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Valid Bar license in the State of CA.

Skills

• Experience in real estate law.
• Proven record of success in and out of court.
