Duties

• Manage civil litigation cases from inception through trial.
• Develop and adjust case strategies based on evolving facts and evidence.
• Handle real estate, HOA, landlord-tenant, probate, and contract disputes.
• Appear in court for various legal proceedings.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Prepare for mediations and settlement negotiations.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Research complex legal issues and develop practical strategies.
• Maintain proactive communication with clients.
• Collaborate with firm leadership on complex matters.
• Supervise and utilize paralegals and support staff effectively.

Requirements

• 4+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Licensed and in good standing with The Florida Bar.
• Experience managing contested civil matters independently.
• Strong preference for experience in real estate, HOA, landlord-tenant, probate, and contract disputes.
• Strong motion writing, research, and legal analysis skills.
• Experience taking and defending depositions.
• Ability to evaluate cases strategically.
• Strong client communication and case-management skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Florida Bar License.
