A Spokane Valley, WA-based law firm is seeking an experienced Immigration Trial Attorney to join its dynamic team. Duties:

• Conduct thorough legal research and craft persuasive motions, briefs, and appellate submissions.
• Manage multiple complex cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Develop innovative legal strategies to effectively advocate for clients.
• Represent clients in court, including presenting oral arguments and filing motions.
• Ensure timely and efficient case development and execution.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a supportive and team-focused work environment.
• Serve as a leader in shaping the firm's immigration law practice.

Requirements:

• Active membership in good standing with the Washington State Bar or equivalent U.S. jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 5 years of trial and court experience post-J.D.
• Experience in immigration/appellate law is highly desired
• Strong expertise in legal research, case law application, and persuasive writing.
• Familiarity with legal research databases and complex case management skills.
• Proven ability to appear in court and effectively argue motions.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensure as an attorney in Washington or a comparable jurisdiction within the United States.

Skills:

• Proficient in writing and presenting legal arguments.
• Excellent judgment and persuasiveness.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
• Demonstrated leadership and collaboration abilities.
• Prior experience in immigration and appellate law is highly desirable.
