Duties:

• Handle construction litigation matters from initiation through resolution or trial

• Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, and discovery

• Conduct and oversee legal research projects

• Represent clients in court appearances, depositions, mediations, and hearings

• Engage in settlement negotiations and strategy discussions

• Maintain detailed documentation and case reports

• Collaborate with team members, including paralegals and other attorneys

• Ensure timely and effective communication with clients and stakeholders

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction litigation

• Strong command of litigation procedures and courtroom advocacy

• Previous involvement in insurance defense or bodily injury litigation preferred

• Active membership and good standing with the Florida Bar

• Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse and complex caseload

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Florida
