Legal Assistant
The candidate will build relationships by phone, email and in person. Work closely with legal team and paralegals to ensure clients' assets have been properly transferred to their trust. Assist with proofreading documents. Put together estate planning binders and Kids Protection Plans. Communicate with financial advisors and financial institutions regarding client assets. Communicate with clients regarding the status of their estate plan and answer their questions. Meet deadlines, respond to emails and calls and handle office correspondence. Should have 1-2 years experience in a professional office environment such as financial services, banking, or law firm. Strong attention to detail. Must be able to prioritize tasks with demanding deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment. Applicants must have excellent communication skills and organizational skills. Ability to comfortably use all Microsoft Office products. Some college is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is required.
