This role involves legal representation in negotiations, record reviews, depositions, hearings, and trials. Key Responsibilities:

• Advocate for injured clients in negotiations, hearings, depositions, and trials.
• Review and analyze medical and legal records to prepare case strategies.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
• Conduct depositions and prepare clients and witnesses for court appearances.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings and trials.
• Conduct legal research to support case development and trial preparation.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients, ensuring they are informed of case progress.
• Work collaboratively with medical professionals, investigators, and other experts to gather and analyze evidence.
• Manage a caseload of personal injury cases, meeting deadlines and achieving case milestones.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice law in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, or North Dakota.
• Experience in personal injury law or related practice areas.
• Ability to commute reliably to the office in Eau Claire, WI, and travel as needed to meet clients.
• Previous experience in a professional office environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Comfortable speaking on the phone and maintaining professional communication with clients.
• Experience in negotiations, depositions, hearings, and trial preparation.

Certifications and Skills:

• Licensed to practice law in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, or North Dakota.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong legal research abilities.
• Strong negotiation skills to advocate for favorable settlements.
