Duties

• Manage a caseload of personal injury litigation matters from start to finish.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Attend and lead court hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Communicate with clients, experts, and opposing counsel.
• Negotiate settlements and engage in alternative dispute resolution.
• Conduct jury and bench trials as needed.
• Act as a legal strategist and client advocate.

Requirements

• Active member of the California Bar in good standing.
• 1+ years of personal injury litigation experience.
• Strong deposition and trial experience.
• Proficiency in legal research and writing; Westlaw proficiency is a plus.
• Excellent negotiation skills and courtroom presence.
• Proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active California Bar license.
