Job Overview:
A prominent law firm with a long-standing presence in financial services and real estate law is seeking a Senior Associate to manage foreclosure matters in its South Carolina offices. This is a high-responsibility role ideal for an experienced litigation attorney with a strong command of foreclosure proceedings, courtroom representation, and client relationship management. Duties:
Prepare, review, and approve all foreclosure-related pleadings
Manage foreclosure matters from initiation through resolution, including contested matters
Represent clients in mediations, depositions, and both telephonic and in-person hearings
Maintain regular communication and updates with clients
Supervise and manage case progression to ensure timeliness and accuracy
Contribute to special projects and participate in firm-wide legal initiatives as assigned
Requirements:
Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in foreclosure litigation or related practice areas
Ability to independently manage a high-volume caseload
Experience with contested hearings and courtroom litigation
Proven ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
Strong client service orientation and communication skills
Record of professional reliability and integrity
Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Certifications:
Licensed and in good standing with the South Carolina State Bar
Completion of South Carolina Rule 403 Certification required
Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication
Proficiency in legal drafting and courtroom advocacy
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Analytical thinking with a proactive problem-solving approach
Ability to collaborate across teams and maintain professionalism in client-facing roles
Familiarity with legal management systems and client communication platforms
