A law firm seeks a seasoned attorney to join its commercial litigation practice group as a lateral partner in the New York City Metropolitan Area. The ideal candidate will possess an entrepreneurial spirit and a collaborative approach, contributing to the firm's growth and success.

Duties

• Manage complex commercial disputes from inception through resolution.
• Represent clients in business disputes, including contract issues and shareholder disputes.
• Handle cases in state and federal courts, primarily in Connecticut and New York.
• Collaborate with partners and associates to deliver personalized client service.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in litigation and dispute resolution.
• Exceptional writing and trial skills.
• Ability to manage high-stakes cases effectively.
• 7+ years of experience in commercial litigation.
• Significant portable book of business.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the bar in New York and/or Connecticut.

Skills

• Strong client relationship-building abilities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
