Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly skilled Real Estate Counsel to join its New York, NY office. The ideal candidate will possess eight to ten years of experience with a strong background in leasing, representing landlords, tenants, buyers, and sellers.

Duties

• Manage real estate transactions for various asset classes, including retail, office, and industrial properties.
• Negotiate and draft lease agreements, purchase contracts, and other related legal documents.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful transaction outcomes.
• Provide advice and representation for landlords, tenants, buyers, and sellers in leasing and acquisition activities.

Requirements

• Juris Doctorate (JD) required.
• Must be licensed in the State of New York.
• Proven experience in real estate transactions across multiple asset classes, with a focus on leasing and acquisitions.
• Experience in the retail industry, commercial real estate, and land use law.

Education

• Juris Doctorate (JD) required.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the State of New York.
