Duties

• Provide legal advice and representation on labor and employment matters, including wrongful termination, discrimination, wage and hour claims, and workplace investigations.

• Conduct in-depth legal research and draft legal memoranda, pleadings, motions, and discovery.

• Handle negotiations and settlements on behalf of clients.

• Manage labor and employment litigation from intake through resolution.

• Represent clients at mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and court appearances.

• Collaborate with colleagues and partners on strategy and case development.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and employment litigation preferred.

• Knowledge of California and federal employment laws and litigation procedures.

• Ability to manage a litigation docket with varying levels of complexity.

• Experience negotiating settlements and engaging with opposing counsel.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.

Skills

• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical abilities.

• Skilled in oral advocacy, negotiation, and client counseling.
