Attorney needed for Santa Barbara office

Job Overview: A law firm seeks a skilled Attorney to manage a diverse caseload from inception to resolution. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of discovery and litigation, including conducting appearances, research, and client communication.

Duties:

• Manage assigned caseload from inception to final resolution.
• Handle all aspects of discovery and litigation.
• Conduct appearances for assigned cases, including depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Monitor assigned case files daily, review monthly, and prepare settlement demands.
• Conduct intakes and processes within one week of client retention.
• Research and analyze incoming and current cases thoroughly.
• Maintain weekly one-on-one meetings with assigned case workers for file review and coaching.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate of Law.
• California State Bar license.
• Previous experience in Workers’ Compensation or Social Security Disability is preferred.
• Certificate of Specialization in Workers’ Compensation preferred.
