A law firm seeks an experienced Of Counsel Attorney to join its Hartford, CT team, providing strategic legal counsel on complex client matters and playing a key role in practice expansion and client development.

Duties

• Advise sophisticated clients on transactional, litigation, and regulatory issues

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, briefs, and corporate documents

• Collaborate with firm leadership on business development and origination strategies

• Mentor and guide associate attorneys and coordinate with support staff for efficient matter execution

• Participate in practice-area growth initiatives and marketing efforts

Requirements

• Minimum of seven years of substantive law practice in a reputable firm or equivalent setting

• Proven track record of delivering high-quality legal services and fostering client relationships

• Demonstrated ability to originate business and contribute to firm revenue

• Excellent organizational and project-management skills

• Self-driven with strong interpersonal and leadership capabilities

Education

• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

• Active bar membership in the relevant state jurisdiction
