Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Associate Attorney for its Laurel, MD office. The ideal candidate will be Virginia-barred and possess a strong background in title, bankruptcy, foreclosure, and/or mortgage banking. Duties

• Manage and prioritize a large caseload.
• Draft and review pleadings to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Attend hearings and status conferences.
• Interact with clients, opposing counsel, and team members.
• Provide creative solutions to complex problems to mitigate client risk.

Requirements

• Virginia-barred attorney.
• Six to eight years of experience in relevant legal areas.
• Member in good standing.

Education

• Juris Doctorate.

Certifications

• Bar admission in Virginia.

Skills

• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
