Job Overview

A law firm seeks an associate with 2 to 4 years of experience to join its Mergers & Acquisitions and corporate law practice in Seattle. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in M&A and general business work with middle-market private companies, and a desire to work with a friendly and collegial team of experienced lawyers.

Duties

• Draft disclosure schedules, purchase agreements, and other M&A agreements.
• Prepare corporate and LLC formation documents.
• Provide high-quality service and interact directly with clients.
• Work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

• 2 to 4 years of relevant experience.
• Self-motivated with excellent communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the WA state bar and in good standing.

Skills

• Strong interest in M&A and general business work.
• Ability to work in a cohesive and collaborative practice group.
