Job Overview:

The Associate Attorney will primarily handle civil litigation defense cases, managing litigation matters, conducting depositions, drafting legal documents, and representing clients in court proceedings. They will be expected to build rapport with clients and provide high-quality legal services.

Duties:

• Manage civil litigation defense cases
• Conduct depositions and interviews
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Negotiate settlements with opposing parties
• Advocate for clients in court hearings and trials
• Research legal issues and provide legal analysis
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel
• Maintain accurate and organized case files
• Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school
• 4+ years of experience in civil litigation defense
• Familiarity with various legal documents and procedures
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
