A law firm seeks a seasoned Litigation Attorney to join its Dallas, TX office through our recruiting services. Duties
Oversee every phase of dispute resolution, from initial fact-finding and discovery to trial preparation and appeal
Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis to craft strategic approaches for client matters
Draft and present compelling motions, briefs, and memoranda to advance client objectives
Prepare for and conduct witness examinations and depositions, ensuring thorough testimony and evidence gathering
Advocate on behalf of clients in court hearings, trials, and settlement negotiations to secure favorable outcomes
Coordinate with colleagues and external consultants to develop a case strategy and share best practices
Manage a streamlined caseload efficiently, prioritizing client needs while maintaining high-quality representation
Requirements
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school
Active membership in the Texas State Bar (required)
Five or more years of hands-on litigation experience in trial courts, with a proven record of courtroom success
Demonstrated proficiency managing cases independently, from pre-trial motions through trial and appeal
Strong aptitude for legal research, motion writing, and oral advocacy in both state and federal venues
Collaborative spirit, capable of working effectively within a team while maintaining a high degree of autonomy
Commitment to delivering exceptional client service and meeting performance metrics without compromising work-life balance
Education
J.D. from an accredited institution
Evidence of strong academic performance (e.g., law review, moot court, honors scholarships) preferred
Certifications
Admission to the Texas State Bar (required)
Federal court admission in Texas (preferred but not mandatory)
