Attorney needed for Falls Church office

Job Overview:

A growing immigration law practice is seeking a licensed attorney for immediate hire. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on immigration law. The attorney will be based out of the Falls Church, Virginia office and will contribute to the continued success and growth of the firm.

Location:

• Falls Church, Virginia

Duties:

• Provide legal representation to clients in immigration matters

• Advise clients on immigration-related issues, including visa applications, naturalization, asylum, and family-based immigration

• Draft legal documents, including petitions, applications, and motions

• Represent clients in immigration hearings, interviews, and proceedings

• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in immigration law and policies

• Communicate regularly with clients to update them on case status and next steps

Requirements:

• A valid law license in good standing (Required)

• Experience in immigration law (Preferred, but not required)

• Strong written and verbal communication skills (Required)

• Ability to manage a caseload and meet deadlines (Required)

• Empathy and professionalism when dealing with clients (Required)

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team (Required)

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school (Required)

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Virginia Bar (Required)

Skills:

• Immigration law knowledge and case management

• Legal writing and document preparation

• Client communication and representation

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
