Duties

• Engage with opposing counsel and pro se parties to negotiate and resolve disputes.
• Draft and review legal briefs, correspondence, pleadings, and other relevant documents.
• Document file and account activities in line with firm and client procedures.
• Represent clients in various courts within the state, managing all aspects of litigation.
• Conduct legal research, analyze laws and regulations, and draft opinions for review.
• Maintain strong, responsive communication with clients to support relationships.
• Participate in continuing education programs, webinars, and seminars to stay updated on changes in local, state, or federal laws and court procedures.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Requirements

• Active attorney license in the state of California with no disciplinary history.
• Familiarity with state civil litigation and federal consumer protection laws is preferred.
• Strong collaborative skills for leveraging team knowledge and resources.
• Exceptional time management and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Leadership abilities to motivate and guide colleagues effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills adaptable to a wide range of recipients.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

• Must hold an active license to practice law in California.
