This full-time, hybrid position involves managing lawsuits with catastrophic damages and offers opportunities to work on cases involving NY Labor Law, premises liability, municipal liability, product liability, and insurance coverage.

Duties

• Defend fleet operators or commercial clients against motor vehicle or truck accident claims.
• Manage lawsuits involving catastrophic damages with high-limit insurance.
• Handle motions, court appearances, and depositions.
• Prepare, exchange, and review discovery, including medical records.
• Interview clients and witnesses and conduct factual investigations.

Requirements

• Strong background in automobile or truck accident litigation defense.
• Experience working with experts to limit claims involving excessive treatment or medical causation challenges.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and remotely.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Admission to the New York bar.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Admission to the New York bar.
