• Engage in land use and planning matters, attend public meetings, and collaborate with public agency staff and local elected officials.
• Responsibilities include reviewing and drafting contracts providing advice on the Brown Act, the Public Records Act, and conflicts of interest.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel to cities, special districts, joint powers authorities, and water districts.
• Conduct advanced legal research and analysis.
• Draft and review contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
• Attend public meetings and hearings.
• Collaborate with public agency staff and elected officials to address legal matters.

Requirements:

• Admission to the California Bar.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in Public Agency Law.
• Strong writing and research skills.
• Familiarity with Land Use and Planning regulations.
• Ability to work effectively with public agency staff and local elected officials.
• Understanding the Brown Act, the Public Records Act, and conflicts of interest laws.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
