Legal Secretary

The candidate will work directly with attorneys and clients to ensure client’s needs are being met and case is progressing. Draft correspondence and legal pleadings. Assist attorneys in preparing cases for hearings and trials. Follow through to ensure deadlines are met. This position is primarily a drafting position and requires the paralegal to work closely with the attorney, client, and other staff members to ensure all pleadings are accurately drafted and completed timely; all discovery related information is properly obtained, organized, and disclosed in accordance with the Rules of Civil Procedure; and all cases are ready for litigation. 2 years of experience as a paralegal or legal secretary is preferred. Experience in Family Law preferred. Must have computer knowledge with Word and Excel. Experience using Clio is preferred. Must be able to handle high stress situations in a professional manner.
