A law firm seeks an experienced Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Attorney to join its Energy, Environmental, Mining, and Transportation Division in Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drafting and negotiating complex agreements related to energy projects.

Duties

• Draft and negotiate EPC and balance of plant agreements for energy projects.
• Handle equipment supply contracts and long-term service agreements.
• Manage subcontracts and vendor agreements within the EPC framework.
• Draft asset management and operations agreements with major vendors.
• Collaborate with legal teams on project development matters.
• Identify and resolve complex legal issues creatively and strategically.

Requirements

• Minimum of ten years of legal experience in relevant fields.
• Experience with renewable energy and power generation sectors.
• Active license to practice law or eligibility to waive into practice in Florida.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active bar membership in good standing.

Skills

• Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
