A law firm seeks a seasoned Residential Real Estate Transactions Attorney to join their legal team in Charlotte, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will have 8 years of experience in residential real estate transactions, including contract negotiation, title review, and closing processes. This role offers the opportunity to manage client transactions and advise on all aspects of residential property matters.

Duties

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of residential real estate transactions from contract to closing.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements.
  • Conduct title reviews and resolve title issues.
  • Coordinate closings, including preparing closing documents and facilitating communication with all parties involved.
  • Advise clients on legal and regulatory matters related to residential real estate.
  • Ensure compliance with state and local real estate laws and regulations.
  • Maintain and manage client relationships with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Assist in supervising paralegals and closing coordinators.

Requirements

  • 8 years of experience in residential real estate transactions.
  • In-depth understanding of North Carolina real estate law and closing practices.
  • Proven experience handling high-volume closing schedules.
  • Licensed to practice law in North Carolina and in good standing.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active North Carolina State Bar license.

Skills

  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management abilities.
  • Proficiency in real estate closing software and title platforms.
