Duties

• Complete thorough title review of each assigned title search.
• Examine legal documents to ensure compliance with state laws.
• Address title curative matters and resolve issues efficiently.
• Prepare preliminary and final title opinion statements.
• Handle a high volume of transactions while delivering top-notch service.
• Fill in occasionally for in-office attorneys depending on home location.

Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in North Carolina; South Carolina license is a plus.
• 2+ years of real estate law experience.
• Notary Public or willingness to obtain before start date.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong professionalism, attention to detail, and customer service mindset.
• Approval by multiple title insurance companies.
• Ability to analyze, prioritize, and execute multiple projects under a deadline.
• Experience meeting and exceeding set title review goals.

Education

• JD from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in North Carolina.
• Notary Public (or willingness to obtain).
