Job Overview:
A boutique law firm serving clients throughout the State of Florida is seeking a full-time Civil Litigation Attorney to join its team remotely. The firm handles matters involving criminal defense, debt relief, real estate and business litigation, and personal injury. This role is ideal for an attorney with at least two years of civil litigation experience who is looking to contribute to a collaborative team of legal professionals in a fully remote environment. Recruitment for this position is conducted on behalf of the firm.

Location:

• Palm Harbor, FL

Duties:

• Manage and litigate cases involving:

  • Real estate disputes

  • Business litigation

  • Condominium and HOA conflicts

  • Landlord/tenant issues

  • Municipal ordinance violations

• Draft and respond to pleadings and discovery

• Conduct motion practice and attend related hearings

• Prepare and conduct depositions

• Represent clients in court for contested and uncontested matters, including motion hearings and trials

• Develop case-specific legal strategies tailored to client needs

• Effectively communicate with clients and manage expectations

Requirements:

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in general civil litigation (preferred)

• Demonstrated ability to handle a variety of litigation matters independently

• Strong understanding of Florida Rules of Civil Procedure

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active member in good standing of the Florida Bar (required)

Skills:

• Exceptional legal research and writing skills (motions-heavy practice)

• Strong litigation and courtroom advocacy skills

• Excellent communication and client management abilities

• Ability to resolve disputes through mediation, arbitration, or trial

• Capable of working independently in a remote setting
