This position is open to both part-time and full-time candidates, offering a hybrid work environment. The firm specializes in commercial and real estate litigation, as well as providing defense for personal injury cases. The ideal candidate will have a background in civil litigation and be committed to handling cases with professionalism and integrity.

Duties:

• Handle a variety of commercial litigation matters, including real estate disputes and business-related conflicts.
• Provide legal representation in civil litigation, focusing on commercial, residential, and business real estate cases.
• Manage litigation from start to finish, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Engage in settlement negotiations and collaborate with clients to resolve cases effectively.
• Prepare for and participate in hearings, trials, and depositions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards throughout the litigation process.
• Offer legal advice to clients on business and real estate disputes.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in New Jersey.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil litigation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Technology-savvy, with proficiency in legal software (experience with Mac computers preferred).

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in New Jersey.

Skills:

• Proven experience in litigation, particularly in commercial and real estate matters.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Strong negotiation and settlement abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
• Comfortable with technology and proficient in using legal software.
