Duties:

• Manage a substantial caseload of Workers Compensation cases
• Conduct opening and closing arguments in hearings and trials
• Perform direct and cross-examination of witnesses
• File necessary appeals, rebuttals, and legal summations
• Prepare and review case files, ensuring all records are thorough and up to date
• Advise clients on the status of their cases and guide them through the claims process
• Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive information

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Workers Compensation law (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of Workers Compensation laws and legal procedures
• Ability to handle a large caseload and meet deadlines
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to perform under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High standard of ethics and professionalism

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active New York State Bar admission required
