Location:

Duties:

• Manage a caseload of Workers' Compensation claims
• Conduct opening and closing arguments in hearings
• Perform direct and cross-examination of witnesses
• Prepare and file necessary appeals, rebuttals, and legal summations
• Review and manage case records to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Maintain communication with clients, providing updates on case progress
• Work closely with senior attorneys for case preparation and strategy

Requirements:

• Entry-level candidates welcome (0-1 years of experience)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and take on significant responsibility
• Understanding of legal principles and terminology
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Fluency in Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin, Russian, or Creole is a plus

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active Bar admission required
