Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Litigation Associate Attorney to join their team in New York City, NY. The ideal candidate will independently manage a litigation caseload and work on various legal projects, including premises liability, dram shop, products, and construction litigation.

Duties:

• Independently manage a litigation caseload, working cases from intake to conclusion
• Represent clients in premises liability, dram shop, products, and construction litigation
• Work closely with other attorneys and Partners on legal projects
• Regularly handle court appearances, depositions, and mediations
• Communicate regularly with clients and provide defense plans and status reports

Requirements:

• JD from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice in the state of Georgia and New York
• 3-5 years of civil defense litigation experience

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admitted to practice law in the state of Georgia and New York

Skills:

• Superior communication, writing, and research skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in legal research and case management software
