Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Senior Financial Services and Trusts & Estates Litigation Associate for its Los Angeles office. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work with diverse clients across various industries, both nationally and internationally.

Duties

• Draft pleadings and briefs.
• Conduct legal research.
• Manage traditional and electronic discovery.
• Assist with or take and defend depositions.
• Appear before state and federal courts.

Requirements

• Minimum six years of relevant experience.
• Strong background in financial services and trusts and estates litigation.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Experience in a mid to large law firm preferred.
• Good standing with the CA Bar.
• Federal clerkship is a plus.
• Law Review experience strongly preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Admission to the California Bar.

Skills

• Strong appellate experience is a plus.
• Proficient in drafting legal documents.
• Effective communication and advocacy skills.
