Job Overview:
A law firm based in Springfield, MA, is seeking a full-time attorney with a focus on corporate litigation matters. This position offers exposure to a dynamic client portfolio and provides mentorship and professional development in a collaborative, diversity-forward environment. The role is well-suited for individuals licensed to practice in Massachusetts and potentially other Northeastern states, with an interest in working onsite and growing their litigation expertise.

Duties:

• Represent business clients in a range of litigation matters involving commercial disputes

• Collaborate with legal teams to develop case strategies, prepare pleadings, and conduct legal research

• Participate in court proceedings, depositions, mediations, and negotiations

• Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, briefs, and motions

• Maintain consistent communication with clients and internal teams regarding case progress

• Support compliance and risk management initiatives for corporate clients

• Contribute to firm initiatives around equity, inclusion, and client service innovation

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law in Massachusetts

• Admission to practice in one or more of the following states is a plus: New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island

• Interest in or exposure to corporate litigation and client advisory services

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced legal setting

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Massachusetts Bar Admission (required)

• Additional Bar Admissions (preferred): NY, CT, RI

Skills:

• Legal research and writing proficiency

• Knowledge of state and federal litigation procedures

• Strong advocacy and negotiation techniques

• Commitment to professionalism, ethical practice, and client service
