Job Overview:
A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a mid-level associate attorney with experience in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and/or joint venture transactions within the healthcare sector. Location:

Duties:
Advise clients on M&A, private equity, and joint venture transactions within the healthcare industry
Support clients in all phases of their corporate lifecycle, including formation and governance
Draft and negotiate transaction documents and operational agreements
Coordinate with third-party advisors and specialists (e.g., regulatory, tax, antitrust)
Work closely with partners and senior attorneys in managing deal execution
Participate in strategic business planning, due diligence, and risk analysis
Engage in client communications and relationship management
Provide guidance on healthcare-specific legal considerations and compliance
Requirements:
3–5 years of relevant experience in M&A, private equity, and/or joint ventures
Background in advising clients in the healthcare industry strongly preferred
Demonstrated ability to take ownership of matters and interact directly with clients
Team-oriented mindset with excellent collaboration skills
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Strong academic credentials required
Certifications:
Active bar membership in the state corresponding to the selected office location
In good standing with applicable state bar
Skills:
Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities
Effective project management and multitasking in complex transactions
Familiarity with healthcare regulatory issues (preferred but not required)
Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and shifting priorities
