A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a mid-level associate attorney with experience in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and/or joint venture transactions within the healthcare sector. Location:

Duties:

• Advise clients on M&A, private equity, and joint venture transactions within the healthcare industry

• Support clients in all phases of their corporate lifecycle, including formation and governance

• Draft and negotiate transaction documents and operational agreements

• Coordinate with third-party advisors and specialists (e.g., regulatory, tax, antitrust)

• Work closely with partners and senior attorneys in managing deal execution

• Participate in strategic business planning, due diligence, and risk analysis

• Engage in client communications and relationship management

• Provide guidance on healthcare-specific legal considerations and compliance

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in M&A, private equity, and/or joint ventures

• Background in advising clients in the healthcare industry strongly preferred

• Demonstrated ability to take ownership of matters and interact directly with clients

• Team-oriented mindset with excellent collaboration skills

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

• Strong academic credentials required

Certifications:

• Active bar membership in the state corresponding to the selected office location

• In good standing with applicable state bar

Skills:

• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities

• Effective project management and multitasking in complex transactions

• Familiarity with healthcare regulatory issues (preferred but not required)

• Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and shifting priorities
