A law firm seeks an Employment Litigation Attorney in New York City, NY. The attorney will manage a caseload from intake through resolution, focusing on plaintiff-side litigation, including employment law and disability access cases under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Duties

• Handle all phases of assigned caseload through resolution.
• Draft demand letters, complaints, and motions.
• Represent clients vigorously throughout the litigation process.
• Attend court hearings and conferences.
• Prepare and respond to discovery and appear at depositions.
• Participate in settlement efforts, including mediation and settlement conferences.

Requirements

• Admitted to the NY State Bar.
• 3-8 years of experience litigating cases under relevant statutes.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law in New York State.

Skills

• Strong litigation and negotiation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently.
