Payment Processor

The candidate will Indexing, research, and apply payments to WWR accounts. Manual entry of MICR and/or CARLAR data from received checks into the system. Create letters to consumers as required. Post Cash payments. Process Web payments, debit card payments, and post-dated checks. Process payments on closed accounts. General posting items. Ensures proper communication is made to the Legal Department upon receiving any checks allocated to the Legal Department. Process check-by-phone payments made through the Consumer Collections business unit. Complete all required training applicable to the assigned position. Should have a High School diploma or GED; 1 year of clerical experience; Communicates effectively verbally and in writing; ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs; ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions; ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations; ability to proficiently use the following computer software program and possess the following computer related skills: MS Office (high proficiency in Excel), HP, Outlook, Foxtrot, SharePoint.
