Duties:

• Advocate on behalf of insurance providers and their clients in personal injury, property loss, and similar liability cases

• Draft and review legal documents including motions, pleadings, and discovery

• Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies tailored to case objectives

• Represent clients at depositions, hearings, mediations, and potentially at trial

• Navigate matters in accordance with Illinois and federal procedural rules

• Collaborate with legal team members to prepare cases efficiently and thoroughly

Requirements:

• Background in insurance defense or civil litigation

• Familiarity with Illinois and federal court procedures

• Demonstrated ability to manage casework independently

• Trial or courtroom experience considered a strong asset

• Current, active license to practice in Illinois

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed and in good standing with the Illinois State Bar

Skills:

• Skilled in legal drafting, research, and litigation planning
