Duties

• Represent clients in complex personal injury litigation cases, including but not limited to medical malpractice, product liability, and catastrophic injury claims.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs, and prepare for trials and hearings.
• Participate in discovery, including taking and defending depositions.
• Negotiate settlements and effectively communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and relevant parties.
• Develop case strategies and provide legal advice to clients.
• Stay current with developments in personal injury law and related legal areas.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff to ensure case efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the South Carolina Bar in good standing.
• Experience in personal injury litigation, with a focus on complex cases.
• Proven track record of successful case outcomes and settlements.
• Strong understanding of personal injury law, procedures, and court rules.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Strong academic credentials and performance in relevant coursework.

Certifications

• Active membership in the South Carolina Bar.
• Additional certifications in trial advocacy or personal injury law are a plus.
