A law firm seeks a passionate and experienced family law attorney to represent clients through some of the most challenging times of their lives. The ideal candidate will have expertise in family law, including handling divorce, child custody, alimony, and domestic violence cases. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of cases while collaborating with paralegals and senior partners to provide clients with the best legal solutions.

Duties:

• Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, marital settlement agreements, contracts, judgments, and orders.
• Advocate for clients by analyzing their legal needs and developing strategic action plans.
• Handle the division of marital assets, including real estate, during divorce proceedings.
• Represent clients in court for matters involving divorce, child custody, child support, and domestic violence.
• Collaborate with paralegals and senior attorneys to manage the civil litigation process efficiently.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in family law, including divorce, child custody, alimony, and domestic violence cases.
• Strong communication and advocacy skills, both in and out of court.
• Ability to handle a high volume of cases with excellent attention to detail.
• Strong analytical skills for developing legal strategies and assessing client needs.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Massachusetts, in good standing.

Skills:

• Proficiency in legal drafting, trial preparation, and courtroom advocacy.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple cases.
• Excellent interpersonal and client management skills.
