Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level Litigation Associate to join its Business Litigation Practice Group in either New York City or Hackensack, New Jersey. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience handling complex commercial litigation matters in New York state and federal courts.

Duties

• Handle all phases of litigation, including depositions, court appearances, discovery strategy, and motion practice.
• Collaborate with attorneys across offices and practice areas.
• Manage significant responsibility while working independently and collaboratively.
• Engage with a diverse client base, including businesses and nonprofit organizations.

Requirements

• Admission to the New York Bar is required.
• New Jersey Bar admission and experience is preferred.
• Judicial clerkship experience is desired.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Excellent analytical, research, writing, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
