Profile

A law firm in Westford, MA, is seeking a Junior or Mid-level Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of experience in litigation and/or collection matters. The ideal candidate would have experience with real estate conveyancing, condominium law, and litigation. Professionalism, first-rate communication and writing skills, and the ability to manage a wide variety of cases simultaneously are essential. Court experience, particularly in Superior, District, Housing, and Land Courts, is highly preferred. Juris Doctorate and admission to the Massachusetts Bar are required, with dual MA/NH Bar admission preferred. Superior academic credentials are expected.

 

Job Duties:

  • Handle real estate conveyancing, condominium law, and litigation matters.
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, including those in the Superior, District, Housing, and Land Courts.
  • Manage a diverse caseload efficiently and effectively.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
  • Assist senior attorneys with case strategy and management.
  • Attend hearings regularly and with minimal advance notice.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Massachusetts Bar; dual admission to the New Hampshire Bar is preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience in litigation and/or collection matters.
  • Strong communication and writing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Courtroom experience, particularly in the Superior, District, Housing, and Land Courts, is highly preferred.
  • Superior academic credentials.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the Massachusetts Bar; dual admission to the New Hampshire Bar is preferred.
