Duties

• Represent employers in employment litigation, including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, and participating in hearings and trials.
• Provide counsel to employers on a range of employment law issues, including compliance, policy development, and dispute resolution.
• Handle matters related to workplace investigations, disciplinary actions, and employee terminations.
• Draft and negotiate employment agreements, contracts, and other related documents.
• Stay updated on federal, state, and local labor and employment laws to provide accurate and timely advice to clients.

Requirements

• A minimum of two years of experience in employment law, with a preference for litigation experience.
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the State of Washington.
