Job Overview: A law firm in New York City is seeking an experienced Employment Special Counsel with a minimum of 8 years of litigation experience to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate must be licensed in the state of New York.

Duties:

• Provide legal advice and guidance on a wide range of employment law matters.
• Conduct legal research and analysis related to employment litigation cases.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlements.
• Represent clients in federal and state courts, as well as before administrative agencies.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to strategize and manage cases effectively.
• Stay abreast of changes in employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 8 years of employment litigation experience.
• Active license to practice law in the state of New York.
• Proven track record of successfully handling employment law cases.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar.

Skills:
