Duties

• Manage and oversee civil litigation and insurance defense cases
• Represent clients in court hearings, trials, mediations, and arbitrations
• Handle all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation
• Provide strategic legal counsel to clients and internal teams
• Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and appellate briefs
• Collaborate with partners, associates, and clients on case strategy
• Maintain compliance with court deadlines, legal procedures, and ethical guidelines

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in insurance defense, civil litigation, or related practice areas
• Strong litigation, negotiation, and trial experience
• Excellent legal research and writing skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple cases
• Proficiency in legal technology and case management software

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

• Active membership in good standing with the California and/or Nevada State Bar
