Duties

• Review and analyze notices of removal and federal jurisdiction issues.
• Calculate and evaluate damages.
• Meet and confer with opposing counsel regarding discovery and disputes.
• Draft motions, oppositions, replies, and legal memoranda.
• Conduct legal research and develop persuasive arguments.
• Prepare for and argue motions and hearings.
• Collaborate on litigation strategy and case management.
• Maintain professional communication with clients and counsel.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active state bar license.
• Admitted to practice before federal court.
• Prior civil litigation and federal-court experience preferred.
• Strong research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines and work independently.
• Professional and collaborative approach.
